Homemade Chicken Nuggets are Light, Crisp exterior, juicy and seasoned interior, chicken nuggets are always popular in menus. You can make these snacks at home quite easily which has the added benefits of being healthier and less expensive. Deep fry, air fry or bake them in the oven, they turn out so good.
Preparation Time: 20 min | Cooking Time: 20 min | Serves: 4
Ingredients:
à Chicken: 250 g
à White Bread: 2 slices
à Paprika Powder(spicy): 1 tbsp
à Egg Yolk: 1
à Egg Whites: 2
à Clove Garlic(crushed): 1
à Red Pesto: 2 tbsp
à Freshly Ground Pepper
à Salt as per taste
Method
Step 1:
Grind the bread with the paprika powder in the food processor until you have a crumbly mixture and mix in the olive oil. Transfer this mixture to a bowl.
Step 2:
Puree the chicken fillet in the food processor and mix with the egg yolk, garlic, pesto and parsley. Add salt pepper as per taste.
Step 3:
Preheat the fryer to 200°C or you can deep fry also. Whisk the egg whites in a bowl. Shape the chicken nuggets mixture into 10 balls and press them into oval nuggets, Coat the nuggets first with egg white then with bread crumbs.
Step 4:
Fry the nuggets golden brown. Delicious with French fries and fresh salad.
