Whether you're feeling under the weather or you're just in need of a little comfort, there's nothing like homemade chicken noodle soup to warm you up from the inside out.
Ingredients:
၈ 1 tablespoon butter
၈ ½ cup chopped onion
၈ ½ cup chopped celery
၈ 4 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth
၈ 1 (14.5 ounce) can vegetable broth
၈ ½ pound chopped cooked chicken breast
၈ 1 ½ cups egg noodles
၈ 1 cup sliced carrots
၈ ½ teaspoon dried basil
၈ ½ teaspoon dried oregano
၈ Salt and ground pepper to taste
Method:
Step 1:
Melt Butter in large pot or dutch oven over medium heat. Add onion and celery and cook until just tender, around 5 minutes.
Step 2:
Add chicken broth, vegetable broth, egg noodles, carrot, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix to combine and convey to boil.
Step 3:
Diminish heat and Simmer for about 20 minutes.
